Pet Registration
Visit https://www.rtps.assam.gov.in/ and register/signup. After you have registered your profile, login using your login ID and password. Then you will be directed to Service Plus. There click 'Apply for services' and select 'View all available services'. You may get an error message. Don't worry. Just refresh the browser.
Select Service No. 09 titled 'Registration of Dogs'. An application form will open up. Fill up the details. You may face some problem in filling up your ward number. A ward number map of Guwahati City is given below. You may get your ward number from that map after identifying your location/ address.
You also have to upload a photo of the vaccination card of your dog given by the vet, a photo of your ID proof like PAN Card, a photo of your address proof like Electricity Bill/Aadhar Card. If you are living in a rented house, then you may upload the electricity bill in your landlord's name. A photo of your pet dog also needs to be uploaded. Once your application is successfully submitted, you may pay the fees of Rs 210/-.
The amount of Rs 210/- is for one year of registration. The amount is not much for it comes to Rs 17.50 p monthly. The amount can be paid through online transaction. It will take 1-2 days for your application to be approved. After approval, you will receive your pet dog's registration certificate through email. In case of any problem/issue you may visit the second floor of the GMC Building at Laktokia and talk with Dr. Pradip Ch Medhi.
